For university, he moved to Jakarta and studied information technology at Bina Nusantara University, known as BINUS. He worked as a marketer during his studies to support himself. He graduated in 2010 with his degree. After college, he took office jobs and moved between companies. In time, he rose to the job of company manager. Miawaug Career

Reggie first found YouTube in 2011. On December 18, 2011, he opened his first channel under his own name, Reggie Prabowo. He uploaded only three videos to that channel, and it never took off. The channel is inactive today, but it was his first step into online video. For the next few years, he kept learning about cameras and video editing while he worked his office jobs.

On March 15, 2014, he created the MiawAug channel. His first video came on March 27, 2014. It was called “Let’s The Game Begin – SMASH HIT – Part 1” and showed him playing the mobile game Smash Hit. The video earned 2.6 million views and gave him a strong start.

At first, he made his videos in English while he still worked as a company manager. Making videos after office hours was tiring, and the channel grew slowly in the first year. In 2015, he made the biggest decision of his life. He quit his manager job and became a full-time YouTuber. His early YouTube income was smaller than his old salary, but he trusted the channel.

He later switched his videos from English to Indonesian. The change worked fast. Indonesian viewers found a creator who spoke their language, played full game series, and uploaded every single day. The MiawAug channel began to grow at a speed that surprised even Reggie himself.

His horror game series turned him into a star. His playthroughs of the indie horror game Granny became a fan favorite, and his 2018 video “Curi Mobil Granny” is still one of his most loved uploads. His Hello Neighbor series became even bigger. One Hello Neighbor video passed 33 million views and stands as the most watched video on his channel. A fun cover of the viral song “PPAP” also became a surprise hit with 32 million views.

Reggie did not stop with one channel. On January 4, 2018, he opened a second channel called Meot for live streaming. Its first stream came on February 2, 2018, and showed him playing Monster Hunter. On Meot, he streams games live and chats with fans in real time. The channel has grown to 3.56 million subscribers.

Today, Miawaug uploads new videos every day, and on busy days he uploads two. His main channel holds 22.8 million subscribers, and his videos have passed 7.1 billion views in total. He reached this level with a simple rule: he only plays games that he truly enjoys.
